Bottle, eat, drink?
Hi, ladies. I'm new to the baby signing thing. A friend bought me Baby Signs when I was still preggo and now that Nate seems interested, we're going to begin.
I wanted to begin with a sign for bottle, so he could tell us when he's hungry for a bottle, but all I can find are eat and drink. I was going to use eat for solids and drink for cups...is there another sign for bottle? Or should I just use eat or drink?
Hope this makes sense...I'm a little tired!

Re: Bottle, eat, drink?
Well, I use "milk" for when Colleen wants to nurse. Would that work for you?

Re: Bottle, eat, drink?
I don't know the sign for bottle, but milk would probably work. And then if you were planning on giving ds juice or water in the cup, you could just introduce those signs as it came up. We did milk and water, but really, she loved her milk and it's the only thing she would ask for.

Re: Bottle, eat, drink?
I know this is a way old thread now...but, thought I'd chime in anyway.
We use milk for our bottle...since that is what is in it! LOL. We never ask him if he wants a bottle - we just ask him if he wants milk...sometimes he gets it in a cup now that he's getting bigger and after some initial SHOCK...he's getting used of it!

Re: Bottle, eat, drink?
I have found this site helpful for me. It does have bottle on it.
