Default Anyone know the sign for "truck"

Hi everyone, long time no post! Nate's doing wonderfully with his signs! He has about 12-15 signs now and he uses them all day long, it's great! His speech is coming along too... it kind of all started at once.

Anyway, he's just OBSESSED with trucks and buses. Any time he sees them, he points and gets all excited. Lately, he's been signing "train" for them - he WANTS to have a sign or be able to say something, so I was hoping one of you guys knew?

Hi! the sign for truck is very much like car but with your hands further apart like you're steering a big steering wheel!

here are a few sites that are great to look up vocabulary:

Thanks - that's easy enough! I'll be curious to see if he can distingush b/c the two but we'll find out.

And those sites are great so thanks for that as well!

One way to show the difference is that car is held in front of you like you are driving and truck is more parallel to the ground.

Hi, I am just popping in. DS, who is almost 14 months old does a 1 handed steering wheel for car and truck.

Since we always would point out airplanes to him, he puts his arm in the air for airplane (and fan)
