Default Horrible day at work and left early!

I have to vent and I do apologize in advance for it being so long. About a week ago I messed up and forgot to put the milk away after I took all 9 of my preschool kids outside. Keep in mind the head teacher was not working and the other assistant teacher was covering the head teachers hours 7-3 and snack is at 3-3:30. Fine whatever but when you have behaviorals you tend to forget about everything except for getting them outside to run. Anyway, another assistant teacher said something about me leaving the milk out to the supervisor even though the assistant teacher had mentioned it to me. The supervisor comes in and harps me out about milk and cots......

About another week later. We all get attitude from the lunch lady and she some how brings up the whole milk incident and her tone made it sound like it was all my fault blah blah. So I am like "oh, so I was the only one doing it so it's my fault. She get's half way out the door (while we are all eating kids included) saying my brain is the size of a pea or something. Of course, drama! We all couldn't belive she said that. The girl beside me says "that wasn't nice." I was REALLY upset so left the classroom and waited for the supervisors to get back.

I talk to the supervisors (while still upset and disgusted) and when I was telling the one below the supervisor position she gave me a look as to if I was crazy. Without thinking (and assuming) I said don't look at me like I am crazy with attitude. She took that personally and left. After 10 minutes of talking to the supervisor she walked in and I wanted to apologize. She said "I'm not ready for you to apologize to me" Grrr....I can't believe she would take that personally! I was just so upset I felt as if everyone had something against me and she can't be a tiny bit understandable I was very upset at the lunch lady. I am hoping I can apologize to her tomorrow but I think she wants me to kiss A$$ or something.

After that I told the lunch lady how I felt about the remark and how it hurt my feelings and I took it personally. She says" well I was going to swear but decided not to do it in front of the kids" and "it's not only you but I feel half the time none of you guys know what your doing!" Ugh, it's just unbelieveable a LUNCH LADY would say this! I don't think she understands how difficult it can be to have 8 or 9 kids in addition to behaviors. Anyway, we got that solved but not the lady that's below the supervisor is angry at me......I suppose I can see why but at the same time, I wish she would have a little bit of sense "that I was pretty angry and wasn't thinking before I spoke and assumed of her weird looks at me."

I'm kind of keeping an eye out for a new teachers position...which is sad because I just met my 1 year mark. YAY! Ok, if you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read my vent.
