Default How to make your kitchen smell better

Have a clean and fresh-smelling kitchen. Here's how:

Run a lemon (cut into wedges) through the garbage disposal. Simmer cinnamon sticks, nutmeg and/or cloves in a pan of water to scent the air. Make sure your sponges are sparking clean by rinsing them with bleach, running them through the dishwasher, or tossing them into the microwave for a minute.

I've heard about the lemon in the garbage disposal but I have yet to try it. And really run your sponges thru the dishwasher? That i have never heard of.

I already use the lemons to freshen the disposal but I have never heard of these other things...time to experiment!

I've heard of these, but haven't tried but one, the pot simmering. We don't have a garbage disposal so that one is out But the spoonge in the microwave.....I've heard of it, but haven't tried it yet.
