Default Holiday Themed Meals for Kids

What do you do to Holiday-up your kid friendly meals?

St. Patrick's Day is coming up fairly soon -- does anybody have any plans for a St. Patrick's day feast for kids?

Our youngest will be away this year for the occasion, but she's still talking about the year I put green food coloring in their mashed potatoes. No it didn't taste any different, but it sure looked icky enough.. ROFL. The kids loved it.

Corned Beef Hash is another family favorite, if you're going for an Irish theme, but I don't know that I'd want to eat it if it were green..

I've got a Sizzix Die cutter (Avid SCrapbooker/Rubber Stamper) so if I was still doing daycare I'd probably make coasters for the kids for their meal, make green kool-aid, and really play up the theme..

What do you do to celebrate the special days with your kids?
