Oatmeal Crispies

Ingredients:
1 cup milk-free, soy-free margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 T. water, 3 T. oil, 2 tsp. baking powder; mixed together
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups quick oats
2 cups crisp rice cereal
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Set aside. In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars with an electric mixer until well blended. Add water, oil, and baking powder mixture; and vanilla extract. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir in oats and cereal. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on prepared cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with fork. Bake 12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
