Yum! I am not much of a baker. But I think I may have to begin somewhere.

When you bake the frozen ones do you thaw the dough first? These do sound really good, and combine two of my sons favorite cookies, Peanut butter and oatmeal. I will have to bake him up a batch and then freeze half the dough as you suggest to give to him so he or his wife can bake the other half the next week. I will error on the side of caution and assume the dough has to be thawed.

I do NOT thaw before baking.
I roll it into a log, and wrap it in saran wrap and then tin foil.
When I want to bake them, I just unwrap and make slices with my big chef's knife. (be careful!)
And I plop them on a baking stone and bake. It takes a lil bit longer when they are frozen, but they come out nicely!!
I'm sure you could thaw and bake, but that takes too much time for me! LOL
good luck!!

Better Yet! I am sure my son and his wife will really love this. They both work and just don't have time to do a lot of baking but love cookies.
