Grilled peaches with rum sauce
Grilled Fruit with Rum Sauce
2 apples, cut in half and cored
2 plums, cut in half and destoned
2 pears, cut in half and cored
any other fruit with the stone or core removed
150 ml sweet rum
3 oz caster suger
3 tablespoons honey
Place the fruit under the grill until soft or hot.
Place in a saucepan the rum, honey and let just get to boiling
point while stirring. Add the sugar and let it get to just boiling
point.
Place the fruit on a heated plate then pour the sauce on with a
pinch of sugar. Serve.
