Dessert of the week: Pecan Sandies
1 cup butter
2 cups self rising flour
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
2 cup pecans, crushed
cream butter; add honey and flavoring. Mix well. Add flour; blend in nuts.
Roll into small balls.
Bake at 300* for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over cookies while still hot, and then again when cool.
