A moist four-ingredient bread that requires no time to rise – an ideal accompaniment for St Patrick’s Day meals.

Serves 8

Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
