Chili
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 (16-ounce) cans kidney, pinto beans, diced tomatoes
1 cups green pepper
4 teaspoons chili powder
1. Cook and drain the ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in large skillet until beef is browned. (add 2 tsp of the chili powder to season the meat)
2. Add the beans, tomatoes, chili powder. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook, stirring frequently, for 20 to 25 minutes.
3. Garnish as desired before serving. ( I serve mine with rice)
