Default Insect -Themed Foods

This summer our theme for the Summer Reading Party is BUGS. We always have a party at the end, that is usually a picnic theme. I have been working on coming up with "insect" themed foods to serve. I have the obvious things like ants on log, and bug themed cakes or cookies, and bug juice (several recipes for that)....BUT what I need is a sandwich idea. How can I incorporate the bug theme with hot dogs or hamburger or a sandwich??? We will be fixing for 100-175 people so the easier the better.

Thanks

This is called Amish Ham Salad but maybe you could call it Bug Salad and serve it. The Carraway seeds might look like bugs.
Amish Ham Salad

1 lb. Slice ham, cut in julienne-strips
1 lb Can of sauerkraut, rinsed-and drained well
1 lb Swiss cheese, coarsely-grated
1 Tbs. Carraway seed
1 Tbs. Finely chopped dill weed
Mayonnaise to stick together

Directions

Mix all ingredients together with a kitchen fork and add mayo till it reaches consistency that you like. Serve on your favorite rye bread.

You could also make sure that had seeds in it to and say "Bug Salad on Bug Bread".
