Update & Question (preg mentioned)

Well, I got a BFP! Yeah! I had a beta done 16 dpo (219) and 18 dpo (520ish). Then I had an ultrasound last Tuesday. The preg is in the uterus and I thought everything was fine. Then my doc called me and said because it's in the lateral aspect(?) it could be in the upper right corner of my uterus which would be a variation on an ectopic. Has anyone ever heard of this? I can't seem to find any information and she left town for Christmas so I can't ask her any questions. She did make sure that I knew to watch for significant pain (I've had none) and I have another ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday. I would appreciate any information you might have.

First let me say Congratulations!

I am not sure what they mean by lateral aspect either. Sorry. I would try to do some searchs too, but I'm at my inlaws and I can't stay on too long.

It sounds like the PG may be too close to your fallopian tube. I hope and pray that the PG is located in a good position. Please let me know how your u/s goes on Wednesday.

Congratulations!! I hope everything is okay. Let us know when you find out more. Your numbers doubled so that is really great!

I had a second ultrasound on Wed. and the preg is in the right place. We even got to see the heartbeat which was amazing. The doc says everything looks good. Thank you all for your support.

I'm so happy that baby is in the right place and has a heartbeat. What an awesome sight! Congratulations!!! Please stop by and update us from time to time. I hope the rest of your PG is trouble free.
