I am very pleased to announce on our 3rd month of trying that we are pregnant. My first set of betsa came back great! And tonight I am going in for a u/s just to make sure this one is in the right spot!!! There is hope after a ep and loosing a tube!!! Good luck to all!!!!

That is so exciting and you are giving me hope. I had an EP on 10/31/06 (left tube removed). Did your Dr. put you on Clomid or you just went natural. I hope this one is a keeper for you.

Congratulations! That's so exciting. I got pregnant pretty quickly after losing my tube (4th cycle of trying) and I'm due pretty soon.

How did your ultrasound go? I hope this one's a keeper too!

Hi everyone!

This update is just in time. We have been ttc #1 for over one year. We finally conceived last month....I am in my 5th week. I had an ectopic in 7/02. I didn't lose a tube b/c we used methotrexate. I haven't been pregnant since. We did the hsg test in January and they told me my tubes were clear. I have been worrying the past few weeks that this pregnancy won't be ectopic too.

I go for my u/s today at 1:30.

We had the u/s Monday and the baby is in the right spot. I was 5 wks. 2 days at the time so I didn't see the heartbeat yet but we did see the yolk and sack so I think I will see about a second u/s next time I see my midwife, I had a previous m/c so that fear also lurks at the back of my brain as well.
Brenda~my ep was oct 27, 2006 and I lost my right tube. This was natural no clomid.
Debbie~I hope to see you on DIN!!! How was your u/s?

Thanks for checking in on me.

My u/s went very good. We could see the gestational sac with yolk sac inside. It was in my uterus!!!!! I slept so much better last night. They could even hear the heartbeat. They estimate I am 6w3d...that seems a little off b/c I don't have 28 day cycles but it doesn't really matter to me. I am due on my birthday - 10-28-07!

I go back in 2w for another u/s to make sure the heart is still beating and my little one has grown.

After my ectopic I always feared I would never have a normal pregnancy. What a miracle!

I am still in quite a bit of discomfort on my right side but they couldn't find anything on u/s and didn't seem at all concerned. The said it could be stretching, hormones, etc. Maybe I pulled a muscle, who knows? Have any of you had a healthy pregnacy with a ache on one side (down low)? After seeing that u/s yesterday, my anxiety went way down. I know we have 6 more weeks until we are past this trimester. I think I heard once they see a heartbeat that it reduces the m/c rate. Is this accurate? Thanks again and congrats to those who have had healthy pregnancy after ectopics!

Oh Debbie!!! I am so happy for you!!! I must have come and checked your posts 15 times yesterday!!!! Then I didn't hear anything and I got nervous!!! SO glad baby is in the right spot!!!! That feels so good doesn't?
I think next time I go to midwife I am going to ask for another u/s just to see heartbeating. If feeling yucky is any indication that all is well then I know everything is progressing well.
Yes, m/c rate does drop after seeing a heartbeat. I think it goes down to less then 5%.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing. What a relief to know that all is well. You ladies really give me hope. I have a 2 y/o ds and lost #2 in June 2006 due to an ectopic. I was given methotrexate but it ruptured anyway and I had my tube removed 2 weeks later. This is my 9th cycle after the ep and am trying to stay hopeful. Congratulations again. Please continue to check in and let us hopeful lurkers know how things are going.

Hi all, I'm new here. My story is this. I had my son in Jan 2000, I thought I was done having kid's, so I had my tube's done in late 2000. In 2001 I had to have the left 1 removed, so now I only have the right 1 on. The doc said the clamp cut the tube in half. Well I was wrong about not having any more kid's. Since my son was 2 I've wanted to have another baby, but hubby say's no way. The fight's we've had about it, well there's been alot. I have read alot about women that have gotten pregnant after having there tube's done, and 1 day I'm hoping it will happen to me. Has anyone got any info about women they know that it has happened to.. Thank you..

Sorry, I don't have any info. on women who have gotten pregnant after a hysterectomy. I bet if you google the topic you may find some stuff. Good luck.

Maryanne - How is your pregnancy going? Have you gone for your next u/s yet? Keep me posted.

I am doing good. I really don't have any symptoms - atleast not like others talk about. I feel good most days. Our next u/s is on 3-19 at 1pm. Send us some positive thoughts and prayers if you remember.
