Icon6 Test Results

My beta was 31 - I go again next week on Tuesday.

I'm having some twinging on the left side (ep side) and some pale pink shimmery looking discharge - have any of you had this before?

Today has been hectic, plus I am very moody and everyone/thing is getting on my nerves. Usually I am very upbeat and outgoing. Hopefully this will pass soon or I will be living a hermit life.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I should be on tomorrow while at work and then tomorrow evening after the Steelers play the Jets.

Hi, Cathie

Glad to hear your numbers are getting so low... I don't know what to say about the discharge. I don't think you'd ovulate if you still have hcg in your system, but maybe you'd still produce the cm?

I'll be watching football all weekend, too. My dh is going nuts since we live right outside of Philadelphia. He should be a crazy man during the Eagles/Vikings game.

I wondered the same thing so I did some research - guess that you can ovulate....

Hey Misty - I fould this Q/A online so I guess you can ovulate - since he says you can get pregnant...

Why do I need to wait for three months before trying to conceive again after a Methotrexate injection for ectopic pregnancy?

One of the ways that the complete resolution of an ectopic pregnancy is documented is by the HCG levels (pregnancy hormone) going down to zero. It can take 12 weeks for this to happen, so becoming pregnant before the HCG goes down to zero from the previous pregnancy leads to much confusion: Is the new rising HCG because of a new pregnancy? Or is it that the ectopic pregnancy still has some viable tissue, indicating a continuing dangerous
process?

Your doctor merely wants to keep things clear by separating the two pregnancies from each other: the previous ectopic pregnancy and an ensuing intrauterine one. In that way he or she can use HCG levels to monitor the resolution of the first with the fetal well-being of the second.

I'm so glad but a little surprised I can't believe it is such a slow process. Mine is the same way. I just can't wait to be at zero and I'm sure you are the same way.

Also I'm sure you are ovulating. I chart my cycles every month and I have been keeping track and sure enough I ovulated. My cervical fluid also followed a regular month of dry to sticky to very fertile and now is drying up again. I also got pregnant with my first son the very month I miscarried (1st time). So I started bleeding at 5 weeks of pregnancy and then I ovulated 2 weeks later and I got pregnant. My Dr. was not a happy camper but my son was 9lbs 3oz and is a healthy 2 1/2 year old. So you ovulate even though your numbers are not zero.

Well, keep us posted and I hope you hit zero soon. I am supposed to go back Monday but I really want to just wait 2 weeks and then go back. The vampire routine is getting old.

Glad your numbers are dropping. Hopefully, you'll be down to 0 soon and then you will no longer be a pin cushion...until you get pregnant again.
