some questions?

Were your cycles normal afterwards. In case you don't rerember, I had an ectopic 8/22, had a lap and ended up having my right tube removed. A couple days later I started bleeding pretty heavily, was this my period? It lasted about 4-5 days like a period. Were your cycles long or short afterwards? Or was it exactly how it was when you were ttc before you got pregnant? If you have 1 tube; when you ovulate, do you know? Sorry for all the questions.

I also had my tube removed with my ectopic and got a period right away. My next period showed in 30 days and since then has been anywhere from 26 - 35 days. Normal for me was always about 30 days. The 26 day cycle came right after the 35 day cycle and the 35 day cycle had to do with a cyst that I had on my ovary. Other than that I would say I am the same as I was before.

As for ovulation, I am pretty sure I can tell when I ovulate, although last month I tried to get pregnant and didn't. I just think I ovulated from the side without the tube.

Hi Heather,

I had one tube removed. I don't remember how my first cycle was, but I considered the day of my surgery to be day 1 of a cycle. After my first cycle, my cycles were regular in length, but one of them had temps bouncing all over the place, but I could still tell when I O'd because they did settle down by the time I O'd. I had a pretty consistant O day around day 12, and my cycles were 26 days long. I waited 3 cycles to begin TTC again, but charted cycles 2 and 3. I knew I was O'ing by the charts. I also did an OPK when I tried for DD. HTH.

BTW, I like your Blinkie. Can I copy it?

Thanks for answering my questions. It helped. I am kinda waiting for Af to show soon. I had really irregular cycles and they started to be normal before I got pregnant. I am just kinda nervous they will go back to being long and annovulatory again. I guess I just have to wait and see. I think I will chart and use my fm next cycle to see if I ovulate. Do I have to wait 3 full cycles and ttc on the 4th? Or does it mean you can start ttc again on the 3rd cycle?

Heather,

With my ectopic, which was on May 7, my doctor said not to try again until August. So I waited 3 full cycles. Did you doctor suggest how long you should wait? I would go by what he/she says.

Btw, I hope it is okay if maybe I copy your blinkie also?

I waited 3 full cycles after my EP. I included the cycle that started with the end of my EP. Since my cycles were short, it ended up being less than 3 months. I would wait the 3 cycles to let your body heal.
