Icon9 Not so reassuring update

Hi Ladies,

I've had a busy day. I went in to see my OB this morning and when I told him I was heading out of town tomorrow, he asked me if I wanted to have an u/s today. So, I had one as well as a boat load of bloodwork. Unfortunately, I won't know the bloodwork results until Wednesday.

Basically, the only thing they found with the u/s was a right side ovarian cyst with the comment possible ectopic. My OB said that it is entirely possible that it is just the corpus luteum and that my pregnancy is just not progressed enough to show up in the womb. In most cases, that is what he would assume (but normally, he would never do an u/s at 4 weeks). But in my case, he has to keep close tabs on me since I had a prior EP.

He had to legally advise me not to leave town, but told me to call him on Wednesday, and to go to the ER if I had any thing that might indicate an EP. I may well be getting more blood work and/or u/s in Seattle.

So, I won't be around much in the next 8 days. I may be able to get on at my ILs, but I'm not sure.

I wish you the best!! I am sure it is just to early to see anything. I hope your bloodwork all comes back great and the little bean is right where it should be.

Have a nice trip and update if you hear anything!

I don't know too mnay ppl who have been able to see anything at a 4 week u/s except for a cyst on or near an ovary. I know that you like the rest of us have a complicated history but try not to worry! This pg is such a wonderful Christmas blessing!

I'll be looking for your update when you get back. Have a wonderful time, I'll be thinking about you!
