Wow! I'm impressed that the board is keeping it going. Last cycle was a dud and I've bottomed out a little. Trying to bounce back. I'm thinking of going to a chiropractor this cycle. I've heard some hairbrained theories out there about being adjusted benefits the reproductive system. I'm not using the proper words but that's what it amounts to.

Karen, you asked about whether I had an HSG or not. After my 2nd loss in April, I had one just to see if there was any blockage and they found none. Why I got a second ep (in June) is beyond me.

Karen, I start my injections on the 23rd! I'm excited to start being more aggressive! I'll be doing Gonal F with a trigger and an IUI. I scheduled my instruction session, u/s and b/w for day 3 (the 23rd) - hopefully af comes on time because I was pushing it by scheduling the instruction session on cd 3; seeing I can't start the injections without it!

Should I expect more follies than what I had with Clomid (2 mature follies)?

How are you doing? What cd are you on?

DJ - Hi I'm doing good, thanks for asking. I have to get my cycle count post back up from fertilityfriend.com. Anyway I am on day 3 today and I start my Follistim tonight. I'm happy to be starting again. It depends on the dose but they will monitor you usually anywhere from 2 to 4 mature ones. Most of the time you have alot of little ones like 12mm and under when you are about to "O". But I usually have 2 big one's like 18mm to 20mm.

Hi Karen, Just seeing how you're doing. I started injectables - they're a breeze! I was affraid at first but now that I've done 2, I feel like a pro!

I'm on cd5 and go to the RE on Wednesday for another u/s. I'm wondering what they're going to see? Will the follies be developing large enough to see on cd7?

How are is everyone? It's been alittle quiet here. Hope you're all well!

DJ - I always go in for b/w only on day 6. On day 8 I go in for b/w and u/s. Usually my follie size on day 8 is a 12 or 13mm. Then on day 10 they are around 16mm. Day 12 ususallly 18mm and ready for the HCG shot. I write down everything in my pocket book.
I'm glad you are getting the hang of injectables its pretty easy.
As for me I went in day 11 and I had a 14mm on the left and a 16mm on the right. So I was getting bummed because the right tube is the one thats gone so I wanted the bigger one on the left. Then on day 13 I had a 20mm on the right and one 17mm and one 14mm on the left. So they said I could take the HCG shot because anything 16mm or bigger will "O". Then I went in on Sunday for my IUI and they did one more u/s just to see if anything changed and it did.

The right stayed at 20mm but my left went up to 20mm and a 16mm. So thats good news. Now I'm in 2ww.

Karen, We are the same; my left tube is open and my right one blocked.
Sounds like you had some good size follies on your open side! I asked the NP if they can aim the sperm towards my open side during the IUI, she said "Umm No". Haha, I thought that it was a legit question.

I'm keeping hopeful for you; that would be a great Thanksgiving Blessing huh?!!

I hope that I get another u/s right before my IUI (like you did); it would be nice to get final sizes before they do it. I think this cycle is it for you!!!

Hi Karen, I'm loven the injectables. I have good follies with no side efftects.
I have 5 mature follies with 4 on my good side measuring 20-21cms. I trigger tonight with IUI on Tuesday morning. How are you doing? Are you 7 dpiui?
What time frame do you recommend?...They're doing mine 36 hours after triggering. I can't wait to hear our outcome this cycle. Keep me updated and I'm wishing you all the best!

I never had any side effects either. My RE only does the IUI 36 hours after the HCG shot so thats all I know. Good luck tomorrow those are great follie sizes. With me I'm doing good. I should know something by the end of this week.

Grrr... On the Af. I have been lurking. I am hoping for a BFP for you next month!!! A christmas treat would be great. I found out I was pregnant with Madeline 3 days before Christmas in 2001 after 6 months of trying after my m/c. So finger crossed.

A little update from me. Looks like we are going in for induction on Friday. My 3rd induction. Big surprise! I am already over due! And I am so ready to have Mason out!
