Default I did have a tubal pregnancy

I had a tubal pregnancy in my left tube close to my ovary. The doctor said he was able to save my tube. To me, on the pictures from the laproscopy, it looks a little ulcerated where the pregnancy was. Is that normal? He also did and D&C which I am still recovering from. No methotrexate was given as of yet.

I'm still not in a very good mood or feel like talking much. Guess it will come in time.

I'm sorry that you had a tubal. And it is good that they were able to save your tube. I imagine (although I am just guessing) that your tube will have some damage to it. Hopefully it will heal in time. That's a good question for your doctor. Since you had surgury, you probably will not need to have MTX.

You've been through a lot. You should take as much time as you need to get back to normal both physically and mentally. It does take a while. Hopefully DH will give you extra love and pampering.

Take it easy. And we are here for you when you need to talk.

Cindy

My heart dropped when I saw your message. I'm so sorry to hear that. I was optimistic when you said your numbers had been doubling. Your tube may have some damage, but many times that can heal on its own. And I agree with Cindy that you probably wouldn't need MTX since you had surgery.

It can take a while to be ready to talk after you go through something like this. With my first ectopic, I didn't really deal with what had happened for nearly a year. Dealing with any kind of pg loss is traumatic. Take good care of yourself and reach out for any kind of support you need, whenever you need it. That's what our little group is here for.

I'll be thinking of you...

I'm sorry.

I'm glad they were able to save your tube. Hopefully, they got everything and you won't need the MTX. I didn't have surgery, just the MTX.

I was very emotional when I found out about my loss. I was in a very bad mood. I was mad as well as sad. Everyone deals with things differently. Just let us know if you need us.

I'm so sorry about your loss It's such a difficult thing to get through on so many levels.... You lost the baby you wanted so much and then you have to deal w/ surgery and then the concerns about future fertility begins to haunt your thoughts. I just can't relay to someone who hasn't been there what an all round sad situation it is to endure.... I feel so badly you have to be in the midst of all of this.

There are some questions that you can ask your Dr. that can seriously help you that your Dr. won't even think to ask/tell you... I found it best to write down my questions before I got there b/c I kind of went into a haze as soon as I got the Dr.'s office which I find is common for so many of us...

Ask him/her HOW he/she knows your tube is clear... I went around for months not knowing if my remaining tube was even functional when my Dr. could have put my mind at ease long before then. When I finally did ask how I could possible know my tube was fine... He said "Because I personally looked at it" When I had the LAP he examined it I didn't know that you could do that.

Ask him/her about scarring after a Tubal pg. Ask him if the tube gets better w/ time? When to start TTC again (if you want to start ASAP).... Ask about getting an HSG if you are still uncomfortable w/ one or both of your tubes.

I'm trying to think of more questions but I can't right now... If there are some important ones that I missed I know the other girls can help you out, they are such an amazing help!

I hope you feel better soon, please keep us updated
