Default Hello & Welcome :)

I know this board has slowed right down in the past few months (which is a good thing ) but I just wanted to make sure that everyone gets the support, information and guidance they need if/when they need it. As I am no longer TTC I don't visit these boards very much any more so I would like to make sure that anybody who needs me is able to find me

So, if you come to the board with questions or you need a shoulder, please contact me. I'm very easy to get a hold of. You may contact me through email or catch me on MSN messenger. My email (& contact for MSN) is terrylynnhorne@hotmail.com

I've been watching for the first post on this board!! I'm still ttc#1 after a ruputured ectopic and 2 m/c, so I'm around if anyone needs support, too. I'm often on the Clomid board (which is where I'm at right now in trying to get pg with just one tube...) but I check here regularly.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Jonah and Devon are gorgous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Karen!

I'm in North Jersey. Also trying to get pregnant with one tube. My RE has given us 3 mos. trying on my own - then he wants to do I/F. Did your DR give you Clomid because you only have one tube, or are there other factors also?

Hi, Michelle...

(I lost my first reply...hopefully this won't show up twice!) Anyway... the Clomid is just because of the one tube. I have no other i/f issues. My doc hopes that I'll release more than one egg, or eggs from both sides to increase my chances. I did get pg on my fourth Clomid cycle, but that ended in a m/c. Have you had an HSG? I've heard quite a few people say they get pg pretty quickly after having that test done. I wasn't allowed to try at the time I had my HSG, so I can't vouch for it's effectiveness... Good luck!!!

Hi all! I'm just checking in. I don't visit too often, but I'm here too. I'm thinking about TTC #2 soon so I may be around more soon. Good to see everyone!

Kathy & Cindy! I'm so happy to see you gals still pop in! the only drawback to finally getting pg and having your baby (or babies ) is loosing track of some really great people

Karen! I noticed that you were on clomid... Are you charting too? Would love to see your chart if you are

Michelle... I had a tube removed b/c of my ectopic. I stopped Oing after the surgery. I charted for a year, had flat-line charts for that year, went into my Dr. she ran tests (lot of B/W ) referred me to my OB/GYN, he did some more B/W, confirmed what I already knew...Wasn't Oing at all.

I was started on 50 mg of clomid, start on CD#5 for 5 days. He didn't bother w/ an HSG b/c he took a close look at my remaining tube during the surgery for my EP. Also, he wasn't in a rush to up the clomid b/c I did only have one tube and he said it could take some time for pg to happen and he didn't want me on massive dosages for months on end... I agreed.

By my 4th cy we did it! I was pg and I did it with just one tube and both ovaries damaged (from previous ovarian cysts)...And it was twins!

I just know things will happen for you! You will get that BFP when you least expect it!

Yes, I'm charting... I've had a crazy cycle this time around. You can click on my chart in my sig. I'm still not 100% convinced I even O'd this cycle. If I did, it was very weak. I'm going to put a call in to my doc tomorrow to see what he thinks and what he wants to do. I am not liking the idea of being on Clomid for an extended period of time, and my right ovary doesn't seem to care to be stimulated!

I'll let you know what happens... I'm going on vacation on Wed. and am hoping the doc gives me some direction before then. If I did O, af should arrive while I'm away.
