Had my baby and update on me (baby ment)
Hello everyone,
Sorry it's taken me so long to post...I had my beautiful baby boy - Vincenzo - on June 14. 7 lbs 15 oz. He is healthy and beautiful and I love him so much.
My labor and delivery went great but my recovery has been difficult to say the least. They messed up my epidural causing me a spinal headache the day after he was born. I can't even describe the pain. After keeping me in the hospital an extra day, I ended up getting a blood patch to fix the leak in my spine. Went home that day and then the next day woke up with the terrible headache again. Back to the hospital to get another blood patch. It was horrible. I have been on complete bed rest up until today...it's been so difficult and I haven't been able to dress, change, or do anything for my baby and my daughter or husband. He has been doing everything along with help from my mom and sister. I cry every day because I don't seem to get much better, the pain in my back is bad from being poked with a needle so many times. And I feel so upset because this was supposed to be a special happy time for us. I know you all can probably understand.
Anyway, I had an MRI today on my back to make sure there is no damage done and have to get another on my neck tomorrow morning. Please pray for me that no permanent damage has been done. I want so bad to get better and to take care of my family. It's been really scary going through all this.
Hopefully I do feel better in the next few days and I can post pictures.
