Default It gets even crazier

I reported a few days ago about my second ectopic. There was reportedly a psuedo sac when the ectopic was found. Well, that proved not to be the case. It was actually a heterotopic pregnancy (one in the uterus and one in the tube) and that was a gestational sac. At least now my wonderful numbers make sense. I was feeling so duped before (funny where we find comfort when dealing with multiple loses.) This probably happened because I was taking Femara, an ovulation enhancer, so anyone using this, Clomid or anything other fertility drugs, pay close attention. I thought the chance of this was 1/30,000 but the updated literature actually puts it at 1/4,000. For those who might be worried that I had to kill a healthy fetus (I want to go there every once in a while but that's not the case), I was already miscarrying. My HCG levels were already dropping significantly long before the MTX had time to work. I'm saddened but am feeling more hopeful that this wasn't the very end of the journey for me since one actually made it out the tube (I only have the one left). I'd love to hear from anyone who has had this type of situation. Thanks so much for allowing me to share my story.

Oh my. You certanitly have had a roller coaster of emotion. I am sorry that this is happening. I have heard that sometimes clomid can cause ectopics'. Please do not beat your self up about a normal pregnancy being in the uterus and having to take the MTX. Even if you were not in the process of m/c there would have been no other safe option.
I am glad that (what a weird way to out this) the ep has gotten out of the tube. I am very glad that your fertilty has been perserved.
I am hoping that very soon we will have a wonderful update for you and your family.
