The dr. said they did find 1 villi in my uterus when they did the d&c last Thursday. He said that he didn't know if it just slid down from the tube. There was also pregnancy tissue (whatever that means) in my uterus. So could it be possible that that was the only villi and that it was not an ep afterall? I get my hcg #s tomorrow and I guess that will tell. I hate waiting.

I'm confused...did they not do the pathology tests prior to giving you the MTX???? If there was pregnancy tissue in the uterus...my understanding was there is not an ectopic unless there were two fertilized eggs.

You might want to ask your MD...but what's done is done.

well at the hospital the path report said no villi but then he told me today that they did find one so i assume that was not in the original report. It was only a single villi from my understanding.

oh the initial report said pregnancy material but not villi. Now it says pregnancy material and ONE villi.

That could mean you had a blighted ovum.
