I have a friend in GA who is in a terribly abusive relationship. Luckily her husband is in jail right now, but we are worried that he will get out and kill her (He will not be concerned about the protection order). Many people are telling her to get out, but she is so overwhelmed, and could use help and direction in how to go about it.

Does anyone know of some agencies in GA that can help her? I am googling like a madwoman, but I'm sure people living in the area would have better info than what I could get off the net. There is a real urgency to get her out of the state soon, but she is not living on the street or anything. She just needs guidance on how to get her possessions together (sell the house, etc.) and disappear.

Any help on her behalf would be appreciated. I am terrified for her.
