Default Looking for neat Fall activities in SW PA

This question goes out to all the SW Pennsylvanians on the board. We will be on vacation in Fayette/Somerset/Westmoreland counties area in the middle of October. I'm looking for some kind of harvest festival, fall festival, something of that nature anywhere in the general area. I know there's a haunted hayride up in Donegal, but the kids are a little young for that (they're 5.5 and 6.5). I'm not sure how far I'm willing to travel, but at least if I know where something is, we can debate whether or not to go. And if it's a daytime thing as opposed to something at night, we'd be more likely to go. Even something in Greene county would be doable.

Thanks!!

No one knows of anything?

I've started a countdown to vacation as we're all getting really excited and I'd love to find something.

Well duh...I have a Laurel Highlands brochure and found a couple of things to look into!! If anyone's interested, one is in Smithfield, south of Uniontown and the other is in Hollsopple, north of Somerset.

http://richfarms.com/frightfarm/ - this is in Smithfield and they do have stuff for little kids

http://farandafarm.com/My_Homepage_Files/Page0.html - this is in Hollsopple

Sorry hon, I just moved here to PA and I'm on the Eastern side of the state, about an Hr. west of Philly. I heard out this way that Lancaster county is a very nice place to visit, Amish country being the main draw I suppose, although lately, it wouldn't be such a great experience with the school shooting and all. such a sad thing to have happen.
I hope you've found some nice spots to think on visiting for your trip though!
