I am from Liverpool, NY which is a suburb of Syracuse New York in upstate New York. I live about 25 miles from Lake Ontario so we usually get a lot of lake effect snow in the winter. In fact Syracuse generally wins the "Golden Snowball" for the state of New York, the award for the city with the most snowfall in that year.
