Where is your favorite place to shop?

I think that Walmart Supercenters are the best deal overall, but I hate their meat. I shop at a local store by me for that.

I like WalMart too. I do like their meat though...especially the way it's packaged. We just got a new Kroger in Cabot, and I loved it the first time I went (when they had all the great grand opening deals), but now, it's just not worth the extra $$ to go there. (And I hate the way their meat is packaged...saran-wrapped onto a foam tray. I feel like I'm touching something really dirty!)

The one thing I don't like about WalMart is their produce section...it's the pits...

Kroger is the Pits, way way to expensive.
Dave's work used to give a $30 gift certificate to Krogers at Christmas, and I used to think it was just a waste. This year we got $50 for walmart

Here in Hot Springs, Kroger sucks- it's way too expensive and pretty crappy. There are a lot of other grocery stores, but none of them are very good (people only use them to get their ads so they can get those same prices at walmart on the foods).

We've got 2 Supercenters in town within 15 minutes of one another, and I work at one of them. I'm REALLY picky about produce and meats, and all in all, this store has excellent quality in both.
I do pretty much all my shopping at Walmart.

I do half of my shopping here at the commisary on base and the other half at Walmart in Jax.

April- Before we moved here on base (in April) we lived in Cabot and I sooo loved shopping at Knight's. They had good prices..but what my lazy butt really liked was they were right down the street from us (the new one). Sometimes I just wanna go all the way to Cabot to just shop there.

Oh and I HATE HATE HATE the Walmart in Cabot..they never have anything!! When I lived there I always drove to Jax when I needed to go there.
