Branson Shopping

Anyone like to go to Branson to shop?
I went Monday and Tuesday (since it is spring break!)
Had a great time.
Found a new favorite low price hotel.
Cascade Inn. $49 (have to ask for returning guest rate) has an indoor pool and decent free breakfast. Right on the red route

I have heard all about Branson...but have never gone! I think I have a new vacation idea!

Gotta love the outlet malls.
There are 3.
Blue roof is the best. It has all of the favorite outlets.
Red roof really only has correll, plzgraph (I know that is not spelled right! ) and carters.
Green roof has the VF and paper outlet.

I go pretty frequently...my mom lives about 30 min from there, so it's easy to go there when I'm making a trip to see her. (so I don't have to pay for hotels, and I get a free babysitter...yay!

) I try to plan it around holidays, because that's when you get the best sales. I like the blue roof better too. I only go to the red roof to go to Carters.

FYI- if you go around holidays to the blue roof, Childrens Place frequently does $3 sales, where they have entire racks of stuff for $3 or less. AND- if the person at the register at any of those stores asks you if you want to sign up for their mailing list- ALWAYS say yes!! Last time, I got a $10 coupon from OshKosh (for use in outlets OR online!!!)

I would have loved free babysitting,

Grant was good but still a hand full.
I took his wagon (good thing I drive a suburban

) and that helped.

I do, but I live just four miles south of the AR/MO state line! lol It is less than 30 miles from my house to Branson! Most of our stuff comes from the outlet malls. The shopping gets even better if you have friends or family who work at the mall.

I got some adorable Tommy jeans for less than $9!

Sidewalk sales at Tanger / Blue Roof this weekend! I have a $10 off coupon @ Osh Kosh!
