I am considering becoming a consultant for Discovery Toys. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Do you think someone can actually make a decent amont of money selling toys?

I have hosted a DT party. I regret doing so because the cosultant was terrible. I would never deal with her again. (She was disorganized. Was annoyed that the kids were playing with things. Had her 3 year old son who she cloimed was well behaved with her and he was a monster. Also, she openly told her son he could not touch the toys because they were expensive. Not a good sales tactic!) The toys are good quality and DT stands behind their products. They are a bit pricey IMHO. Each person who was at my party bought very little as things just costed too much. There are some other things I do want later on, but I will find someone else to buy them from or even look for used products depending on my budget. If you find the right group to start with, you could do very well. My group of friends just isn't the target group.
If you put on a good presentation to the rigth group, I am sure there is money to be made.

I have decided to go with a different toy company. They sell fun and educational toys for newborns through preschoolers. The prices are good too. I just started so hopefully it will be successful!
