Well I can honestly say that I LOVE being preggo but I seriously want to have this baby, I want my crotch NOT to hurt anymore.:cry I really over did myself yesterday while cleaning and today after my appt I went and did some shopping for the baby and Danny(Daniel and Danny came with). I was in pain the whole time and should have just gone home. My only dilemma is that if I don't get it done now it won't get done. Plus tomorrow Danny is going to my moms to spend the night for the first time EVER!! I am going to miss him so much but I am sure he will have a blast. We are dropping him off at noon and then heading out to Madison to do some shopping then we are going out to eat and to see a movie(either The Day After Tomorrow or Princess Diaries 2). I know this may sound funny but I just hope my crotch can keep up with my plans. Girls I can not tell you how much this HUUUURRRRTTTSS!! I know I should stay home with my feet up and relax but I really need to do some last minute baby shopping, like getting our infant car seat!! I am such a slacker, I still don't have my bag packed?! Why NOT you ask well my reason is that "oh I will have time later" well I think I am running out of time. I must be in denial or something, more like I will believe it when I see it(ie; Cookie is laying in my arms). Now that I have updated you all on everything but my appt here's the info. Last week I was 50% effaced, high and not dilated and this week I am 70% effaced, very soft, -2 station so the head is engaged and my cervix is posterior which just means the baby's head is pushing the cervix outward. However I am not dilated so hopefully soon I see some action in that department. I tested + for group b strep so I will have to get some antibiotics while in labor. One of my Ob's residents came into the room and measured me today and she got a fundus reading of 40weeks. I could tell off the bat that she measures really big b/c just last week I was measuring right on at 35weeks for my fundus by measurements of my OB. She measured me from the lower part of my pubic bone(OUCHIE!!) instead of the top part of the bone, no freak'n clue why she did that??!! Anyways so she gets done checking my over and then she sends in my OB who wants to feel the baby to get an idea how big he/she is. Her response...."oh Dawn this feels like another whopper". So we set up another growth u/s to see how big this kid is. Personally I don't think the baby will be over 8-8 1/2lbs(at birth) b/c I am NO where near as big as I was with Danny and all my blood sugars are normal(had GD with him). My u/s, NST and next appt.'s are scheduled for Thursday the Sept. 23rd. So at my next appt. I will be 37(10/15)weeks or 38(10/9)weeks depending on what edd you go by, right now I am going by my first edd of 10/9. Oh and I didn't gain any weight at this apptand the baby looked great on the NST. So there is my appt in a nutshell, wow not to much longer!! I am going to go lay down in a bit, I have been having some lil' painful BH's.

I have to say that I know your pain! I have been in pain down there for months it seems. I hope that you were able to get your shopping done and enjoy it too! It won't be long now! How did Danny do at Grandma's?
