I went in for a NST today, I get them weekly now along with weekly appt.'s. The babies hb looked great on the test reading. Lil' bugger was moving all over the place so it was hard to trace the hb close to the end of the NST reading. I told the nurse about the contrax I have been feeling on and off since my last appt last week. So she said she would tell my OB and more then likely she would check me again. I really wasn't expecting her to want to check me again since she just checked me the week before and there was nothing going on down there anyways. So she checked me and said the babies head is resting nicely on my pubic bone(hahahaha OUCH!!) and that I am 50% effaced but no dilation and I am still firm. I was in total shock b/c I wasn't expecting a darn thing to have changed since last week. Hell I was so darn excited that after she left the room I got off the table and jumped up and down!! I NEVER had any dilation or effacement with Danny. Plus he was never this low either. My Ob also did the group b strep test today and measured my fundus which was at 35(cms) weeks exactly. She felt the baby and said she still thinks its going to be a big baby. I guess we will just have wait and see about that. Oh and I gained another 2lbs, don't even ask me how much I have gained total. Hmmm I know it's under 10lbs so far but not sure exactly. I knew I would pack on the pounds in the last month or so tho. I did the same thing while pg with Danny. So after my fun OB appt we(my mom, Danny and I) went baby shopping. It was a lot of fun but Danny really wore my mom and I out. By the time we got done I could barely walk to the car I was in so much pain down there so needless to say I am trilled to be home and sitting on my arse!!

Dawn, I am so happy that everything is going so well with the baby. I remember going in for stress tests at the end of my pregnancy with Hope. It was a pain in the a$$, but it was also nice to know that my baby was alright. So when are you going to have this baby?? LOL I'm sure that everyone has asked you that at least 100 times by now. I was wondering, because you are efaced (I'm a horrible speller! Sorry) do they think that you are going to go early??
So what does Danny think of becomming a big brother again? Let us know what happends.

Shawna actaully I haven't been asked that question a lot yet, just the "when are you due?" I honestly think I will pop closer to my edd, not sure what my OB thinks. She never told me to take it easy or anything like that. When I told Daniel about being effaced I asked him what he thought and he said "We need to get the bag packed!!". I am such a slacker so knowing me I will be packing my bag while I am in labor. As for Danny, I don't really think he understands whats going on. He says "baby" all the time and pokes at my belly. If he hears a baby on the TV or in a movie crying he will go "SHHHHH!!" over and over. It's really funny and cute to see him do that. Yup I am planning on a vbac with this one and so far it's looking really good. I am getting so excited and anxious to meet this lil' one.
