For several years now, we've had a small party at our house. Friends come over, we eat and play games, and then we toast the new year after watching the ball drop. Anyone who has too much to drink sleeps over and joins us for pancakes and the parade (on TV!) in the morning. It's not all that exciting, but we have fun and I never worry about my friends on the road afterward. (I worry about the other idiots out there, though.)

Not a darn thing as usual. Hubby has to work but we NEVER do anything special. Knowing myself and Vanessa we will both miss the countdown on tv. I so want to try and watch this year and see if Regis can do as good as job as "the oldest teenager" who is still recovering from his stroke.
