Does Hawaii count as "California and Southwest US"? LOL

Anyone else here as well? I'm an Army wife stationed here on Oahu. It's absolutely beautiful! We're new here, having arrived last month (August) and we're enjoying every day. I have two kids, ages 6 and 11, and they love it too!!

I'd say Hawaii qualifies I don't live there, but have both a friend and a MIL that has property there and go quite frequently

Which island do your family members have property on?

Yesterday was a fun day to be here, for sure. There was a special fund raising benefit put on by the actors from the tv show "Lost" down at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. They agreed to do photos and autographs and stuff in exchange for monetary donations to the Red Cross for hurricane Katrina relief. There was an amazing turnout!

I went and really enjoyed myself. Wednesday is another "Lost" event... another meet and greet type thing, only they're premiering the first episode of Season 2 on the huge screen for Sunset on the Beach. I can't wait!!

They (MIL) has a place in Honolulu. And my friend just bought a 'new' place in Oahu, which she's planning on going again in a couple weeks! I'm jealous!
