Megan's Law has changed for us in California.
before all we could see was a map w/ flags for the sex offenders in our area.

We couldn't see pictures or get addresses.
If we wanted that infomation we had to go down to our police station.
where we could see all the pictures, but no addresses.

Thankfully all that has changed.

we can now enter our zipcode, or school, park even a name.
we can see the pictures, get the names & addresses.
we can even see the list of offences.

Let me urge each of you to please take a minute & look in your area.
OMG, I was getting so sick & ticked last night !!

2 men live in the same apt building less than 5 min from my house !
both have offences against children under the age of 14.
another sick ******* lives about a mile from me.
he has offences of molesting children !

This site really has bugged DH since he checked it out. Thankfully, no SO near us, but really has had an effect on how you kinda take a second look at people.

Now, today he found out someone he has dealt w/in business setting has had past record and arrested again for the same charge! It's scary
