I hate the rain! We've been constantly draining our pool this past week!

No one knows how to drive either!

While I love rain, I've had enough at this point. Besides, I'm tired of mopping up my garage.

The sunshine is supposed to return this week, though.

The WeatherCasters kept saying it was going to be raining on Tuesday.
They said it was going to be very bad, blah blah ......

I have never drove in the rain.
So I didn't set the alarm.
yes, DD's school is only 5 houses from us.
My ds had pre-school (50 min class).
anyways, I wake up at 7:30, its dark, pouring & the wind is getting started.
I went back to sleep. Thinking no way am I taking the kids out in that.

LMAO at 8:10 the sun comes out. it stays sunny the rest of the day !
My dd asks, "um mom why am I not going to school again ?"

I felt like such a bad mommy !!

With the wind and cloudiness yesterday morning, I asked DH to run a couple of pre-work errands for me so I wouldn't have to take DD out in the "rain." Then I left for the sitter's and work. Since it only drizzled a little, he told me last night I should start watching the Weather Channel before asking him to run such trecherous errands! I had him go to the post office!

Hey better him than you !!

On Monday I had some dvds that needed to go back to BlockBuster.
dh was suppossed to take them back before he left.

That night I rembered them !
it was pouring, I didn't want to take the kids out in that.
Just then my step-son comes home. I smile nicely ...
"could you please do me a favor ??"

Yay he did it !! I felt bad ... but he said ok.
