It took an extra-long time to get to work this morning, as half the streets in my neighborhood were blocked off due to flooding, including mine! And then the freeway was a mess! There were quite a few moments when I wanted to turn around and go home. When I finally made it to the baby-sitter's, I thought about just staying at her house and calling in sick!

Of course, it's now dry and sunny. Hopefully, it'll stay this way until after DD and I get home!

Can you believe there was a tornado warning in Orange County this morning? How bizarre!!

We are having tornadoes here right now! DH spotted a funnel cloud by his workplace and now they have spotted actual touchdowns in Sacramento area. Keeping an eye on the weather..i'll be back.

Ok..we are fine They spotted 3 tornadoes/funnel clouds this afternoon! Had some home damage in Sacramento area Also, damage to some vehicles on the road with windows blown out
