Default Grand Canyon's Glass Bottom Observation Deck

HUALAPAI INDIAN RESERVATION, Ariz. — Visitors who have marveled at the Grand Canyon's vistas will now have a dizzying new option: a glass-bottom observation deck allowing them to gaze into the chasm beneath their feet.

The Skywalk, which will be unveiled Tuesday, is being touted as an engineering marvel. The glass-and-steel horseshoe extends 70 feet beyond the canyon's edge with no visible supports above or below.

I saw that on the news. I would be way too scared to ever go on it. I think it was really expensive too but don't remember the price. Can you imagine being on it and having the wind blow? Yikes!

I was terrified to do this, but we recently had family in town from Connecticut and they wanted to do this. We made the drive from Phoenix up to the Grand Canyon and did the SkyWalk. It was $25 a person but it was truly amazing!
