Thanks for the link, Heavenly! I'm passing it on to a friend of mine who organizes toddler outings for our group of kiddos.

Kids Workshop - Home Depot Stores

Free Apron & Pin for Kids (First Saturday of eachMonth)
Kids Workshops are free "How-To Clinics" designed for children ages 6-12, available the first Saturday of each month at all Home Depot stores. Children accompanied by an adult, construct projects from pre-fabricated kits. The kits are designed to be both educational and practical.

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, the program allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.

Also, did you know that certain zoo memberships carry over to other zoos? With our membership to a small local zoo, we can also get in free or at discounted rated to around 100 other zoos, both local and not. If you have a zoo membership, it could be worth looking into.

More great places for PRESCHOOLERS! L.A. and Orange Counties

Check out this link www.preschoolersguide.com/destinations1.html This is great because it only lists places for young kids, so you don't have to sift through lots of info for older kids!

Thanks for the other link. It's great too!
