When is the best time of the year to go to Disneyland, meaning, when the crowds aren't as big and the hotels are cheaper? I don't want to wait until next winter though. Whaddya think?

IMO The fall.

We went in October it wasn't bad but it was a little bit busy because everyone was going for the 50th celebration. But the fall is the best time to go. You can get package deals too.

Late September through mid-November and then mid-January through March and then the last two weeks of April are the best times.

We have season passes and those are the only times I'll go.

Tuesday through Thursday are the slowest days.
