I know and I was hoping to take Vanessa to the snow on Sunday when Richard is off. Depends on that weather. We were going to head up to Sierra Summit or somewhere like that but looks like we won't.

I know, this weather sucks!! We are in Reno at the base of the Sierras and we have about 2 feet in our yard still - we are on the valley floor!! I hate all the wind and snow - I wanna move to the beach!

I am just glad not to be in the LA area or the Bay area! They are both getting hit hard by these storms.

I'm an hr from LA.
Last night dh took 10 5 gallons buckets filled w/ water from our driveway !!
it kindof slopes, so water gathers there. But it was going into the garage.
something that has never happened before !! There was still a bunch of water. He went & got some sandbags to put in front of the garage.

Today he is driving to No. Cali ~ Fremont. (sorry Jill thought it was Hayward)
So I'm going to worry all day about him

This monrning the news was talking about Tornados in Ventura.
which is far from me, but still. Its crazy out there.

Heavenly ~ Where did you get your sandbags. I'm beginning to think I need some...water seems to be threatening to come through our back door....and I don't want the carpet ruined.

Also where do you live? I'm in Newport Beach.

Heavenly, I'll keep your hubby in my You'll be happy to know, it's a lax day today, break in the storms, so he'll be just fine Yesterday was crazy up here too. Tornadoes North of us in Oroville, wrecked a bunch of homes. I saw in the paper all that's going on down South Not to be a bearer of bad news, but how much more rain can we take before we all have a huge mudslide problems? This winter has been the craziest!
