Welcome Sharryn (shasha)

How exciting, a visitor to this quiet old board!

Sharryn lovely to meet you and have a new person on this board, I've been rather lonely here

My what a struggle you had to start your family! I can't imagine how awful 15 years of TTC was, I only actively tried for 4 years before Mason was born with the help of IVF, and that was hard enough. Congratulations on finally becoming a mum and now having 2 children.

Sooooo your first born is soon to turn 5 AND to start school - big changes ahead for you then! I can imagine you are feeling a bit sad about this - the first apron-strings to be cut huh? Have fun celebrating Brady's birthday, and good luck with the first day of school. My Mason just turned 4 (as you already know!) and is in daycare 5 days as I work in an office full time. At this stage he won't be starting school (prep) until 2010 when he turns 6. Everybody has worked hard on convincing me that a later start is better, and all his buddies are waiting too.... It's good to have an Aussie to chat with here, as you will understand the lingo and the system here!

It's wonderful that after all the struggles to conceive your first, you only had to undergo one FET to produce your daughter. Thank goodness!

I look forward to getting to know you, over here and over on Mature Moms (btw you don't really need to be mature to post there ) and hearing all about your kids.

oh, a bit about me; as I said on my other post, I'm in Victoria, about 45mins drive out of Melbourne. Live with my DP of 13 years, Andy, my son Mason (4) and our new puppy, Bindi.

See you around here!

Thanks Jen for the lovely welcome. And Mason is a spunk. I'll post photo's of my brats once I figure out how Glad to have found someone and some place who understands We don't live that far away from you, in Mt Gambier. We used the Monash Casterton clinic.

I really don't want to send Brady to school as I don't want him grown up, seeing it too so long to have him, why can't he stay young for a bit longer? The first school we tried (only transition) he hated and I felt really awful. So I let him choose between two and said once he'd made up his mind he's not going to change schools again!

Thanks again.

My pleasure Sharryn. Yep, we reckon Mason is a spunk too! (loving the Aussie lingo!). If you need any help figuring out the pic posting, let me know. Although I get my DP to upload our pics, and shrink them for me, I then save them in photobucket.com.

As I sent Mason into daycare this morning, crying that he wanted to stay with me....I started worrying again about school. At least with daycare he can be picked up early if my DP is up to it. School has fixed hours and is compulsory!...but we don't have to worry for 2 more years!

I do so hope Brady fits in well at the other school and all goes well. Good luck. Nothing worse than worrying about your child being unhappy.
