Ultrasound update

Well, still in limbo. Twin B is measuring right on at 7w3d and has a heartbeat of 158, so he/she is doing great. Twin A has grown from last week, but is still a week behind and has a slower heartbeat still. Plus, Twin A's sac is very small and the Dr. feels he/she won't make it because he thinks the sac is already starting to collapse upon itself.

So, I sit and wait for another u/s in about 2 weeks to see if anything has happened. Luckily I am leaving for my cruise on Saturday, so hopefully that will take my mind off everything until I get back and am seen again. I just wish I had a definite, yes you are having twins or no you are not. This "not for sure" stage is not fun.

Jenn, I can imagine that being in limbo is not fun. Hopefully you will get better answers in 2 weeks. I'm glad to hear that twin B is doing well though!

Have fun on your cruise, where are you going? Are you taking Garrett along?

Sorry to hear about Twin A. Hopefully, he/she will keep growing and you will be pleasantly suprised at your next u/s.

AAWWW I'm sorry to hear that! I know what you meran about the limbo....We were like that with the triplet on my preg. It did end up reabsorbing but If I remeber right it was before week 7.

IVF and related treatments are hard enough not to be stuck in limbo for weeks and weeks. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
