I thought it might be fun to start a thread about tips and tricks you use for various things so we could all share! I got the idea when some girlfriends of mine were over and we were just talking about work, home, kids, etc. We got on the topic of cleaning and I suggested something to my friend who thought it was a great idea. So we started swapping random ideas and shortcuts around the house. Here are two to start:

1. To clean tile grout in your kitchen or bath, use plain vinegar and a grout "toothbrush" (looks like a big, thick-bristle, toothbrush). Pour a small amount of vinegar on the grout and scrub. Wash away with a wet cloth. When you're done with the entire floor, just mop as you normally would. It totally cleans the grout completely! (I have a weird fascination with cleaning grout....)

2. I always use a pizza cutter to cut up grilled cheese, pancakes, really anything for Nathan. It's one handed, quick, and easy and gets his food to him much faster than a fork and knife!!!
