I am a long time poster who just found this board (thanks, Aussie Jenn!) My IF story in a nutshell is that we tried for years...I think 7+ and just recently had our baby girl, Lucy Mae on 11/27. We went through the usual rounds of clomid with IUI and then jumped to IVF when the urologist gave us the word that IUI probably wasn't going to do the trick. We got PG on our first IVF but I miscarried. Did a frozen cycle with no luck. On our second IVF we got PG but miscarried again. We changed REs at that point, drove our frozen embies across town and did another frozed cycle with no luck. DH was diagnosed with high DNA fragmentation so we did a third IVF with ICSI, TESE and PGD. The one normal embryo out of 12 turned gave us Lucy. During my PG I had OHSS and then GD.

I have loved the support on the IVF and PG after IVF boards. I am happy to have found this new place and hope to get to know you all.

Your baby Lucy is so gorgeous. CONGRATULATIONS on finally after SOOOOO much struggle, becoming a mommy!

How are you managing with a newborn? I found it to be incredibly hard...never imagined how little sleep I would get! I was one of those organised people that thought I'd have it all under control...after all I'd done plenty of babysitting over the years....ummmmm ahhhhhh NOPE! Nothing prepared me for what lay ahead once my own sweet baby boy was laid in my arms....but of course what a joyful journey I'm having!!

I do look forward to getting to know you and hearing all about your precious daughter.
