Default New and a question,help

I feel like I know nothing at all!!! Help me if you can. I got my tubes tied and not really wanting to go through another operation to get them reversed, can you ladies please tell me if there is a way to get pg again without going through an operation, I feel like I am living in the dark and in a way wishing I asked questions before getting tied. I hope you all can help with this question and you all were the only ones I can find that can more than likely answer this. Thanks for answering this if you do. I will fill you in really quick about what happened, I was pg with a baby due Oct. 10th and on Aug.30 I got in a head on collision and amist everything I was told they had to do an emergency c-section and that the baby died, well I didn't realize I would srill be wanting another child and begged them to tie me, well here I am now tied and wanting another baby, I know I can't replace my son Marcus but I still want another baby and I am hoping this wears off eventually and even if we did decide to go ahead and do what we have to do, it won't be for a long time because we would have to save up for it. But please if anyone can answer this question it might help lead me in the right direction of what we may do in the future. Thanks all!

Melissa~ I am so sorry for your loss...I did read your story and I was so heartbroken for your family. Yes there is definately hope for you to get pg...through IVF..it is pricey but if you have time to save up for it...I say go for it!! Do some research with different Fertility clinics in your area or just do a search online. It is not a bad process....Come on over to the IVF board and take a look around...

Again I am so sorry about little Marcus he was a beautiful baby.....your story made me just cry my heart out.

with what ever you decide to do....
Here is the link to the IVF board.

I'm so very sorry for your terribly sad loss. What a tragic situation. My heart goes out to you and your family.

It's totally understandable how you are now feeling, and I'm a quite suprised that a doctor would tie your tubes during such an emotional time. I do hope you have some good support around you to help you through this, and listen to how you are feeling.

I'm afraid I can't offer you any advice about your situation in regards getting pg again. I assume IVF would be able to assist you as a medical procedure is used to retrieve your eggs and your fallopian tubes would not be needed. That said, IVF is costly and fairly invasive. I guess you would need to weigh up all the pros and cons of reversal of your original procedure against IVF. I don't know what other options could be out there....hopefully some else will post that understands better. I too suggest you visit the IVF board. I will go find a link for you and post it next...

good luck to you

you and your little angel Marcus are in my thoughts

Melissa here is the link to the Infertility boards in Trying to Conceive, they are much more active boards than this one and so you would possibly get more answers to your question.
