Default LesaMK do you ever visit here?

I guess this will either be a topic with no reply....or maybe....

Hi Lisa, guess you are pretty darn busy with your three children, but IF you should ever have time for the boards, maybe you'll visit here and see this post....

How are you and Mikhala, Harley and Julian all doing? I'd love to read an update (and pics too please!)

Hope all happy and well.

best wishes

Yes, I still pop in. I have to apologize b/c our stupid computer is so slow that I rarely have the patience to attempting posting a reply. I think it's worse b/c on the (post baby) sites everyone has their little ones pics in thier siggy (myself included...after all we went through, you bet I am going to show them off!!) but it just kills my computer. It's soooooo SLOW and I usually lose patience while waiting for the screens to come up. I only have this little window of opportunity to get on the computer. I try to pop on and read updates when I can, but sometimes it jsut takes too much time and I have to quit out of the screen before they even come up and heaven forbid I try to reply, that's another HUGE delay. But thanks so much for thinking of me.

Everyone is doing great. The girls turned 2 last month and little Julian is 10 months and I think he will be walking anytime now. He has been crawling and standing and walking holding on to furniture for about a month now. Like a typical brother, he tortures the girls. He wants to be into everything they are doing which drives them crazy.

The girls are a riot. As I type this I hear little Mikhala opening and closing drawers in ther room during what is supposed to be nap time. SHe learned to climb out of her crib 3 days ago and I was worried about her getting injured so I converted to a day bed with a bed rail and she is using her nap time to investigate every nook and crannie of her room. I put the video monitor back in her room so I could watch. That girl is too much. She's the fearless one. Yesterday she took a bad fall and it her head on the wood at the bottom of my mother's steps. I almost had a heart attack. She got a nice bruise and huge lump on her forehead. We tossed around the idea of taking her to the hospital, but decided she would be fine and she is OK thank goodness. But I think I sprouted a few more gray hairs frm that incident. Harley is testing my patience as often as she can throwing little tantrums to see if she can get her way. But for the most part they are all really good babies. No sign of potty training yet so I am not pushing the issue, but I am guessing it won't be long.

I'll try to download some updated pics if my computer will cooperate. Alynn--congrats on baby #2, that is wonderful news. Kristen--I have been meaning to email you to get some updates on Cameron, but you know how that goes and of course AJ--as always, thanks for thinking of me. How is your little one? Any signs of being ready for potty training yet? I recently was reading that their is a DVD called 'it's potty time' which I am going to buy. The girls really pick up alot frm their videos so I think it will help. I know I shouldn't be so weird about it, but I just can't bring myself to 'potty' in front of them. I have never been a 'public pee'er'. They know what the toilet is and they seem to understand it's for doing 'poopy and pee' but they haven't seemed to want to try it on their own yet. If the video gives a more graphic illistration rather than what I tell them, they may get it. AND,

If we ever get this computer off of dial up I will be around more often.

Great to hear frm everyone. Have a nice Thanksgiving (for those who celebrate it) if I can't get back on line to respond before then!

My gosh how big your three children are since I last saw pics! What gorgeous kids. Thanks so much for the update...I just love hearing how all our old buddies are doing. I just don't know how you manage with three! I'm still struggling with my one!

Yep Mason has just started toilet training. Luckily I have no problem in going to the toilet in front of Mason...but ummmm that isn't all that helpful to him! LOL he needs some boy-instruction! He's doing okay with it at daycare - goes along with the other little boys. At home not so good. He's totally not interested in a potty, so we are using a toilet seat on the "big" toilet. Due to the still colder weather and him being at a busy daycare centre, we are using Pullups on him. Although yesterday at home I tried him in just Buzz undies - and it was a disaster...all over his little couch! I was hoping he'd remember and ask to go to the toilet, or else if he did wet, that he would be upset and it would be a good lesson. No such luck, he wet, didn't tell and was happy to sit in a wet puddle! Anyway...enough toilet talk teehee
Good luck with the girls!!

btw I totally understand about the frustration over the boards loading time. I was having major difficulties up until recently, but even now, and even with cable, I still don't post or read as much as I would if it was quicker. I also only get online when at work, I have NO computer time when at home, and imagine you have even less time than me for yourself!

Thanks for your update, I look forward to the next one.

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."
