Default KerriM

I just saw your post and have two q's for you! I'm thinking about waiting to do our FET and hopefully with a having our little ones approx. 2 1/2 yrs. apart. Would you recommend it? I'm not sure if we should jump right in now or wait.....something keeps telling me to wait until Brooke is more independent and almost ready for pre-school. What do you think?
AND, we also have a pool.. I noticed the cover over yours and the one over your neighbors. I've never seen them out here in California. Are they for shade..baby proofing? Just curious!! TIA!!
BTW, your girls are gorgeous!! LOVE that smile on your little one!!

HI Cheryl,

I am SO sorry it has taken me this long to come back. I mostly go on the boards assoc. with their birth months/years, sorry!

My girls are 20 mos. apart, and I feel like it's a little close. Annabella was the IF baby with IUI, and then Gianna, well, hahaha, she just showed up. So I was totally floored and thrilled, but if it was a timing choice, I would have waited a little longer. I am 38.5 now, so not too much longer, but I think if I had Gianna NOW, with Annabella about a year older, that would have helped. When she wants to be, she can be so helpful now. So, 3 years to me would be great. I have a friend who just had another one, so her girls are 4.5 years apart...that seems too far. I don't know, as an only child myself I am just so not used to this sibling stuff!! hahahahha

As for the screen, yes, probably 95% of ppl who build pools in Central FL build their pools with them. It's mostly for bugs, so you can sit out at night, and it really just makes it an extra room on the house, they are wonderful. Ours is like 40 x 35 and when the weather isn;t too hot you can just open the sliders and have the outside " inside". The bad part is they cut the temp of the pool by like 7 degrees. I wonder why they don't have them in CA?!

Hope I've helped.

Sorry to butt in, but I was trying to reach Kerri and saw this post.

Kerri, I tried to email you last month and got an undeliverable...did you change your email? How have you been? It's been a LONG time. Lots going on here as usual, but everyone is well. Hopefully you will get this, I don't come on the boards very often anymore b/c it always takes to long to load the pages and I don't have much time anymore, but if you get this, send me an email with your new address.

Regarding your post, I have to put my 2cents in. I have 2 1/2 yr twins and a 1 1/2 yr old little boy (15 months apart) and I LOVE having them close in age. It's very hectic for me, of course, but its great that they are generally in the same type of learning curve. I love watching them all interact and play together. I guess if you are someone who likes to be out and about alot I would say to space them apart b/c it really is hard to go anywhere with them all being so close in age unless I have lots of help, but we are kind of home bodies so I love it. Either way, they tend to bring so much joy in your life that the struggles usually outweigh the hard times ten fold. Best of luck in what ever your decision is.

Kerri, Hope to hear frm you soon and for any of my other old friends who might see this, I hope you are all doing well.
Lisa

Look at all these gorgeous kiddies. I can't believe how far we all have come from those dark TTC days! I just love seeing in particular pics of siblings! Well done Kerri and Lisa! And I think from what I see in your latest siggy Cheryl....a CONGRATS is due your way too!!!! I'm off to do some lurking to find out more....

Lovely to see posts from the three of you (okay, so I'm a bit late on the first two!!).
