Hello!
Eventhough I pop in from time to time to read posts, I haven't posted in so long! Just wanted to say hello and give everyone an update!
First, I like to say Congrats to all the new little ones I've read about and to all the new pg'ers, esp. those 'unexpected' ones! I still find that fact that so many of us (me included) got pg so easily and fast after all of our frustrating struggles, amazing!
Also, I love seeing pictures of all our precious babies (and/or toddlers now!) They are all so cute and make me smile!
Sidebar-As I type this, Sophia, now 18 months! Is trashing her little kitchen! She loves pulling out every dish, cup, etc... I have to clean 2 kitchens all day long! he, he, he
Anyway, things here are good and busy, like all of you. Sara will be 3 in Jan. She is potty training and I wish I could say it's been easy or going well. We've been training since the summer and have had periods of progress and regression. She's perfectly capable and likes it once she'on the potty, but getting her there is another story! She's getting there now, although she still has not 'pooped' in the potty yet and still wears a diaper or pull-up at times (more for my sanity). She wears a diaper at night bc she still in a crib, yes still in a crib! She likes it in there and with the other little one it helps to keep her contained! She doesn't try to climb out either. Hopefully, she'll be completely trained soon and Sophia follow soon after! Double diaper duty is getting old and expensive!
Sara also started pre-school (more like daycare) and loves it. She loves the craft projects, signing/dancing and the playground area. And of course she goes potty there fine! Her speech articulation is getting better but she may still need therapy. She always has plenty to say, but some of it still goes understood. I think the 2 mornings in pre-school has been good for her and me. I get some alone time with Sophia.
Sophia just turned 18 months and her personality is blossoming every minute. She's so funny. Trying to keep up with Sara and making her presence known. She insists on sitting on the potty after Sara and playing with all her things. Her speech is coming along very well. She's more of a Mama's girl than Sara, who can be very independent!
They are both pretty good, but Sara can be a bit demanding and difficult at times. I've recently starting doing more consulting work to get a break out of the house for my sanity bc I've been home with both of them for over 2 1/2 years. The extra money is pretty good, even if most goes to pays for Sara's school and babysitting. But it's worth it. It refreshes me to get out for a few hours a week.
Heres a link to some recent photos, a few from Sara's 1st day school, Halloween, pictures that I used for our Christmas card...

Hope everyone is well! Have a wonderful holiday non-stressful season!
Hopefully, we all post more in the New Year!
