For the fun of it - let's share nursery/kids room pics
I've been surfing the boards trying to get my fill of nursery pics - I just LOVE looking at nursery pics! So thought I'd start a thread where we can all share pics of our childrens rooms.
This is Mason's room now - always crowded with too many toys and books and clothing! Bed rarely made.... The wall behind his bed did have the wallpaper border that's on the rest, but as soon as Mason could pull up in his crib, he torn it all down! Now he has brightly colored posters pinned up (high enough that he can't reach!). The dresser belonged to my nanna, my DP stripped back 10 layers of paint and restored it whilst we were waiting for Mason's arrival.

It looks so cute! Lucky kid, he has a lot of stuff....well, Annabella does too, but somehow she has claimed the whole house which makes me nuts...she spreads and carries her stuff from room to room. Geeee, if dh gets her darn room done today I will post pics. He's making me mad!

Re: For the fun of it - let's share nursery/kids room pics
Great post AJ!
AJ: Are you sure Mason has enough toys/books? Jeesshh...that poor kid is so deprived! LOL
Keri: Both rooms girl!!! I remember that Annabella's room is beautiful!
Anja: I LOVE it! What a beautiful twist from the typical blue boy's room! I'd love to see Riley's too!
Here is Kendalls:

The mural of the dog is Patches, our "first born" that passed when I was 3 months pregnant for Kendall.

Re: For the fun of it - let's share nursery/kids room pics
Kerri you give your DH a big kick in the pants - I want to see pics soon!
Anja I just love the crib, and the natural color scheme is so calming. What a great room you are preparing for Emmitt's arrival! Hey, what about pics of Riley's room?
Andi, Kendall's room is just gorgeous, and even though it is distinctly feminine, it's still got that calming natural feel too. What beautiful art work, and what a perfect way to remember Patches! Cute pic of Kendall in your siggy, hey is she walking already?! Kendall is a real little cheeky cherub!

Re: For the fun of it - let's share nursery/kids room pics
OK I'm a late bird here! But just like "AussieJenn" I love to share and see pictures of nursery rooms!!
Love Kendalls room, very creative! I also love the color scheme. i always said if I have a girl I'd make her room pink and ivory. But we choose a light green since she was a surprise! My DH wants to draw a mural in Adriana's room too but he is so busy working all the time! Anyway LOVE LOVE it!
Adriana's room was very neutral and I just started to change things around a bit and add some PINK.
We're still waiting on the bumper pads and skirt. Plus we still need to add some pics on the walls.....I can't wait until it all comes together.
The pads and skirt are going to match the panels in her room....
this was before....
and now........once we get the bumper pads
and skirt, the crib will really stand out
here is another angle....walls are plain....but not for long
I had to show the one thing we do have on the wall, hehe!

Re: For the fun of it - let's share nursery/kids room pics
Aven has gone through so many room design changes, but that's my fault. I can't decide!! I live in a townhome where I can't paint the walls, so my color options are limited. I've finally decided on a "shades of blue" design for his room, accented with boy-type things like camo and such. It's pretty basic for right now because he shares his room with my computer/art stuff, but when he starts crawling, he gets his room to himself and then I'll go all out. I just took these yesterday.
This one is of his crib, dresser/changing table, and some stuff on the walls. The monkey on his changing table laughs and giggles like crazy. He gives it a weird, confused look at first, then he just laughs with it. The mobile in his crib, I made by putting 2 pictures of me and 2 pictures of DH on blue cardstock and attached it to the mobile with blue ribbon. It was originally a Winnie the Pooh mobile, so it plays the song, but he loves the pictures better b/c he'll lay in his crib and "talk" to us as it sings.
Here is his bookcase, a toy box that I painted, and the nightstand with rocking chair. The lamp on the nightstand, I added the blue ribbon around it. Above it on the walls are his framed unofficial birth certificate with baby bracelet, a frame with 3 4x6 pictures of him in various action figure poses (one of them is in my signature, the others are him as The Next Karate Kid, and the other is him as Avenmania), and a big bulletin board covered in blue camo fabric and put in a black frame (I made it all). He's got blue curtains that I made from 2 twin flat sheets. He's also got a blue rocking chair that I painted and gave it a blue camo fabric back.
