So, we should know by the end of today iF Abby actually broke her radius.
**unhappy sigh**
What a flippen day yesterday was.
Abby was up at 6.
Early even by her standards but livable.
We have nap time and if she is forced to she will sleep.
I wasn't too worried.
Well, she was walking down the flight of stairs by the front door and tumbled.
She's a pretty tough kid so I was alarmed when I heard her SCREAMING so I went running to her and she was laying on the bottom of the stairs sobbing her eyes out wanting to be held by mommy.
Which she normally DOESN"T want me to do.
So, I picked her up and rocked her.
She kept saying "Abby fall down stairs, hurt arm, need banaid"
I checked her arm.
No swelling, discoloration.
Nothing.
I waited until she felt better then she wanted to go and watch some t.v.
So, I let her.
She was whiny and cried off and on.
I figured she was tired because she was up so early.
She refused lunch.
Had a 1/2 hour nap and woke up screaming.
So, I re-checked her arm.
This time it's swollen and when I turned her writs to the side she howled.
Luckily I got her in to our own doctor for 3:20 (I called at 2:00)so,I took her in. He thought that she had broken her radius and wanted me to get x-rays done on her.
We had time to get there, get the x-rays done, drive back and see the doctor.
I showed up at 4:03 and was told 10-15 minutes.
Yeah right!!
at 5 to 5 the FINALLY call her in so I mentioned to the technician that I "needed a copy of her x-rays to take to the doctors and since I had been waiting for almost an hour the doctor's office was closed so they needed to tell me if her arm was broken or not because I was NOT going to have my two year old in pain with a broken arm because they were slow.
Probably pissed off the technician but I really don't care.
At all.
So, they give me the disk and I race out of there.
Figured it couldn't hurt to drive to the doctor's office and

hope they were still open.
I called my oldest to tell her what was going on as I was driving to the office when our other line went.
It was the doctor's office calling to see if I was on my way back.
She told them I was so thankfully he got a chance to look at the disk.
He can't say for 100% that she did not break her arm and he can't say for 100% that she did so we have to wait to hear from the radiologist later on this morning.
oi!
Guess I shall find out for sure later on today.
And then, I can let you all know!!

that nothing is missed.
I would hate my little girl to be in pain and not get the treatment she needs!!
Thanks!
